Hi  I'm new to this site & reading some of the posts, finding my way around. I wish I lived closer to some people that need things, so I could help them out. Used items are as good as new in most cases. I also found some sites through this site with organizations needing help as well. Like the "do one nice thing idea" site.

Perfect for an opportunity to do the "little things" that do matter in people's lives. Like send some pencils & paper or a get well card to a child in a hospital, etc. The whole concept of "paying it forward" is, to me, an incredible way of living. It's also a way to recycle & keep some things out of the landfills. I've found out throughout the years that sometimes if you mention your needs, people will help out if they can. or mention  someone they know or somewhere to go to get an item or two. And so on...

So, this is yet another site that I'll be keeping my eye on. I hope I'll learn of more opportunities to connect with people aound the country. There's so much to be done to help each other out.            Peace, Janice
